Change in the Ordinance on the Publication of Prices

In Switzerland the Ordinance on the Publication of Prices (“Preisbekanntgabeverordnung”) has been changed. Some amendments are already effective since January 1^st, 2010 (an actual version of the ordinance including these amendments can be requested from Telequest). 

On July 1^st, 2010 the following amendments will become effective:

• The caller rate announcement for 090x numbers must additionally indicate that the cost stated refers to fixed line call rates.

• Advertisements for 090x numbers must indicate unambiguously that the cost refers to fixed line call rates.

Since the carriers will implement the caller rate announcements as hitherto you don´t have to take action in this regard.

Please adapt your advertisements in due time.

0900-xxx xxx (CHF 1,50 / min. aus dem Festnetz)
